PROPERTY RECRUITER VACANCY – Padstow based but covering Mid & North Cornwall – 12 month Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Leave Cover

We’re looking for a fun, friendly Property Recruiter to join our successful team in Cornwall. 

We’d like someone who is a natural self-starter. Bright and energetic, you’ll be comfortable liaising with existing homeowners, talking to potential owners and negotiating for their business and dealing with third party agencies to ensure that we get what we want when we want it.

You’ll have experience of dealing with people directly and will have worked in a customer-facing environment during your career. Ideally you’ll be experienced in holiday or residential property as a large part of your role will be developing new business leads and recruiting new holiday properties for the portfolio. You will be confident in building contacts and networking with like-minded people.  You’ll also be confident talking to homeowners about individual marketing campaigns for their properties and be able to identify opportunities to maximise income for them. We’ve got ambitious new business targets so we want someone to hit the ground running.

Although you’ll enjoy working within a small team, you’ll be happy working autonomously within your role and will be excellent at managing your own time and workload. This position will be based at our Padstow office covering Mid & North Cornwall area but you will be happy travelling all over Cornwall to support your colleagues and attend meetings in any one of our office locations. There may also be some travel to other parts of the country for recruitment team meetings. 

The role is five days per week (most likely Tuesday – Saturday) with occasional out-of-hours/weekend working required to attend events, such as the Royal Cornwall Show and meetings with owners where necessary.     
To apply for this role: 
•    You must love property or Cornwall or holidays or all three!  
•    Experience with holiday or residential letting is an advantage.  
•    Customer service experience is a must. You love putting the customer first.  
•    You’ll be comfortable using Windows based applications and you will embrace social media and likely use it as part of your day to day life.  
•    You’ll be a strong team player, able to challenge effectively and seek resolutions with a collaborative approach.  
•    You’ll be happy managing multiple recruitment leads and will be comfortable seeking out opportunities for new business.  
•    You’ll need a full UK Driving Licence and your own transport.
