Situated in an
elevated location overlooking the valley leading down to the dunes,
Watership Down is a comfortable and spacious family home found at the end
of a quiet lane but only a few minutes walk to the fabulous Holywell Bay
beach consisting of a three-quarter mile stretch of golden sand, sheltered
by lovely headlands. If you are keen walkers it is possible to reach Perranporth Beach – just the other side of the headland from Holywell and
enjoy the wild flowers along the way in the early summer. The coastline
to the North is National Trust owned and Watership Down takes advantage of
the views over the hillside beyond from the steeply sloping garden
peppered with rabbits and their burrows from whence the property derives
its name. The nearby village has three shops, a cafe and two inns (one
thatched) both of which are within easy walking distance. Just up the road there
is an 18 hole golf course, a leisure complex, go-carting and other
entertainment. Newquay is within easy striking distance being about 5
miles away.

and during icy weather – if so, entrance may be gained at lower ground
floor level). Lovely sloping garden with lawn and mature shrubs (and
rabbits!), terrace with patio furniture.
