Trescore is a large
family-oriented property – very welcoming and homely and plenty big enough
for those family get-togethers. Only 200 yards from the Trevose Golf Club
which has championship links above the sand dunes of the bay - and only 15
minutes walk to the beach; one of the finest in Cornwall - wide, sandy and
popular with families. Rock pools at the southern end of the beach will
keep the children (and some adults!) absorbed for hours and, if you fancy
trying your hand at surfing or body-boarding, the Constantine Bay Surf
Shop has everything you need to buy or hire. Surfing is safe on
Harlyn Bay or Boobys
Bay and the world championship beaches at Newquay are only half an hour
away. Both the golf club and the Treglos Hotel have a restaurant open to
the public (and also a
beauty salon at
each). Just down the road is the thriving village of St. Merryn which
also has a number of restaurants and you are only three or four miles from
the picturesque and unspoilt town of Padstow. This wonderful area of
North Cornwall has stunning coastal walks, safe sandy beaches and
numerous places to visit. The
Lost Gardens of Heligan
and the Eden Project are less than an hour’s drive and there are several
beautiful National Trust houses even closer.
