and championship golf course nestling in the dunes and, a mile or so down
the road in the other direction, is the village of St Merryn (it can be
reached across the fields but you might need your wellies!). There are a
number of restaurants in the village plus, just the other side of the
village, the Cornish Arms, recently acquired by Rick Stein and serving –
as you would expect – some splendid pub food. Just another couple of miles
further on is the quaint fishing town of Padstow with a multitude of
galleries, shops and restaurants.
