Lovely
views and a fantastic location (beach 2 minutes and right next to the golf
course) are yours at The Redlands. This is a lovely, spacious Edwardian
home furnished in a comfortable ‘country house’ style with a number of
antiques and items of interest and located on the promontory of Trevose
Head only two minutes’
walk to Mother Ivey’s
Bay, ten minutes’
walk to Booby’s Bay and right next to the championship golf course of
Trevose Golf and Country Club (temporary membership available). Picture
windows from the first floor sitting room take maximum advantage of the
lovely views in two directions towards Booby’s Bay and Mother Ivey’s Bay.
The well-maintained and attractive grounds extend to an acre and are
sheltered in part by trees and shrubs and also have a sunken patio area
with nearby stone built barbecue. The Redlands has a wonderful relaxed
feel about it and makes an ideal home from home for a large family or
couples on a golfing break. The headland is the highest point of land for
miles and consequently the views from there are just stunning. Also on
the headland will be found the lifeboat station and Trevose lighthouse –
if they are open they are well worth a visit. This unspoilt area is well
served by a number of glorious sandy beaches and there are pubs and
restaurants within a mile or two. The lovely old harbour town of Padstow
is only 4 miles and boasts a number of superb seafood and other
restaurants to suit all tastes. Right next door (but completely separate)
to The Redlands is The Redlands Coachouse which sleeps 2.
