The Linhay provides attractive, flexible and very comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people in three bedrooms and is one of a small collection of barn conversions found down a narrow country lane in this unspoilt part of North Cornwall. With a very large garden and an attractive view of the sea in the distance over rolling hills and the estuary of the River Camel, The Linhay makes a wonderful retreat from the humdrum of everyday life. The conversion has used natural materials such as stone, wood and slate and the open plan reception areas with high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams are full of character. Patio doors from the living area lead out onto a decked terrace both of which take full advantage of the view. Just down the road will be found the Camel Trail, a favourite with walkers and cyclists, as it wends its way alongside the River Camel through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty all the way from Padstow to Bodmin. A 15 minute drive will take you to the restaurants, galleries and gift shops of Padstow in one direction and Wadebridge in the other and you are also within easy striking distance of a number of glorious sandy beaches for which this stretch of the North Cornwall coast is renowned. There are also two pubs within a 20 - 30 minute walk both of which have a restaurant.
