family home. Riverside House is located in a quiet residential road just a
short walk to
Fistral
Beach
(world famous for surfing) and, using the nearby summer passenger ferry,
to Crantock Beach. Riverside House has a relaxed feel, decorated in a stripped
pine/driftwood style, great for family meals, adults quiet ‘me’ time in
the little conservatory and soaking up the
rays in the pretty garden. The River Gannel is
rich in
rare flora and fauna and the coastline is
truly
beautiful. For the more active the area offers sailing, waveboarding,
kitesurfing and windsurfing as well as surfing. After all that action,
what could be better than some Cornish fare; ice-cream, pasties or scones
and clotted cream or try a gentle stroll to Lewinnick Lodge at the end of
Pentire Head and sip your drink or eat a meal looking at some of the most
stunning views in Newquay.
