There are wonderful views of the bay from the lounge, bedroom and balcony and from the front deck, which has a built-in barbecue, wooden loungers, picnic table and an outdoor shower with a view of the ocean. A completely self-contained wing of the owners' home, Alderley Edge is just a short distance from the 5 star Bedruthan Steps Hotel and the fabulous Scarlet Hotel and Spa; non-residents are welcome to use the restaurants, leisure facilities and Health Spa. A nearby path provides a 5 minute walk down to the beach renowned for its excellent surfing. The village, which is within walking distance, caters for most everyday requirements as well as having an excellent pub and a beachside bistro serving good food. The spectacular coastline is protected by the National Trust, including the magnificent Bedruthan Steps nearby. Newquay and Padstow are about 8 and 6 miles distant.
