Description
If you have ever dreamed of a cottage in the country then it will probably have been just like Rose Cottage. This charming period property is situated down a leafy country lane and has recently been restored to enhance the full character and traditional features with beamed ceilings, wood floors and a woodburning stove. It includes a well equipped modern kitchen, comfy sofas, contemporary furniture as well as the more classic cottage style. With light décor, lovely fabrics in the bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a quiet location Rose Cottage is sure to tick all your boxes for a holiday to recharge your batteries. Despite its rural location the cottage is only 4 miles from Padstow, the spectacular north Cornish coast and some wonderful surfing beaches. The cottage is half a mile from the Ring o' Bells pub in St Issey village, the Journeyman Restaurant at Mellingey Mill and is situated on the route of The Saint's Way which dates back over 1,500 years and was once used by Celtic monks. The Saints' Way provides fantastic views along the way and is also rich in wildlife - it is a great favourite with walkers and eventually leads to Padstow in one direction, Fowey in the other.Accommodation
