DescriptionThe Mount is a detached, character, family house in Crugmeer, a tiny, tranquil hamlet of stone and slate cottages set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This spacious and comfortable home enjoys panoramic views to the front over unspoilt countryside towards the sea, and further sea views to the rear from the upstairs rooms. The large lawned areas and delightful slate patio make this an ideal property for adults and children alike. This stunning location offers privacy and seclusion and yet is only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach at Trevone. Just a few miles along the coast are some of the finest surfing beaches in Cornwall. Also within easy striking distance are magnificent walks along the coastal footpaths - great for bird watching or spotting seals. There is a well-stocked farm shop nearby. The historic fishing port of Padstow (1.5 miles by road, or 20 minute walk across the fields) boasts a number of shops, pubs and restaurants including Rick Steins. There are also boat trips from the harbour across to Rock. Activities such as golf, horse riding and water sports are all available nearby.
