Description

Shotwood is a delight! Set at the top of the hill leading down into the charming village of Little Petherick this comfortable detached bungalow has light, contemporary accommodation coupled with attention to detail. Parking for two plus cars, a small enclosed garden to the rear with patio and garden furniture - a great space for families. A nearby footpath takes you down to the church at the bottom of the hill where you can join the Saints Way, a public path which leads to Padstow about two miles away. Padstow, home of Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant, where you will find numerous places to eat, pubs, interesting shops and a working harbour. Several magnificent sandy, surfing beaches are a 10 minute drive. Nearby is Mellingey with the Journeyman Restaurant and the Mellingey Mill Willow workshop and just up the road is St. Issey which has two pubs, one of which, the Pickwick Inn, has some lovely views over the Camel estuary.
