Character cottage built in stone and slate and having vaulted beamed ceilings and rough plastered walls. The charming and cosy accommodation of Melody Cottage is located in the peaceful hamlet of Tregatillian, in beautiful countryside about 1 mile from the small market town of St. Columb Major, but within easy striking distance of beaches on the North coast. A 15-20 minute drive brings you to the lively resort of Newquay in one direction, or the sandy coves near Padstow in the other. Newquay has shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and the quaint fishing town of Padstow is renowned for its seafood restaurants so you really are spoilt for choice when you stay at Melody Cottage. Gourmets will also be delighted to know that Jamie Oliver has a Fifteen restaurant at nearby Watergate Bay.Accommodation
GROUND FLOOR: Five steps outside lead to a patio area at the side from where the entrance door opens into a small CONSERVATORY/DINING AREA with table and two chairs. The conservatory leads into open plan living/kitchen area LOUNGE AREA three seater settee, armchair, occasional tables, TV, DVD player, built-in wardrobe KITCHEN AREA range of units, electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave BEDROOM double bed (4'6"), bedside tables, vanitory unit, hair dryer EN SUITE BATHROOM suite comprising bath with electric shower over, basin, w.c. GARDEN & PARKING: The patio is exclusively for the use of the occupants of Melody Cottage. The remaining large garden is laid to lawn with flower and herbaceous beds and borders and mature shrubs and, whilst shared with neighbouring cottages, delightfully secluded corners allow occupants some privacy if required. Garden furniture provided. Parking for car in driveway outside cottage.Facilities & Information
