Description

All you have to do to get to the beach when you stay at Boatman's Loft is to cross the road and walk down the steps to Whipsiderry Beach or walk a few hundred yards to the larger Porth beach. It is also only a mile from the spectacular Watergate Bay, host to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant and also the Extreme Academy where you can learn to surf, kitesurf, waveski and mountainboard; two hour to two day courses are available. Boatman's Loft is a recently converted apartment attractively finished and well equipped; ideal for families and couples. Pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance and for spectacular scenery you only have to step across the road onto the South West Coast Path. A bus service passes the property which takes you into Newquay (about a mile and a half) or Padstow in the opposite direction. Newquay is a popular and lively family resort offering shops, restaurants and night life. The historic fishing port of Padstow has galleries and seafood restaurants.

Compact open plan kitchen/diner/sitting room comprising: KITCHEN AREA range of units, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher DINING AREA table, bench seating for 6 SITTING AREA settee, bed settee, 2 seating cubes, small chest of drawers, side table with CD/DVD player/tape/radio hi-fi and wall-mounted LCD TV, patio doors to small balcony. From hall corridor to BATHROOM bath (thermostatic shower over), basin, w.c. BED.2 single bed (3') with raised cabin bed (6' long) at right angles only suitable for a child, small chest of drawers, built in wardrobe BED.1 double bed (4'6"), blanket chest, wardrobe with drawers EN SUITE SHOWER ROOM basin, w.c., thermostatic shower GARDEN & PARKING: From the car park a gate leads to a small terrace area with a two seater bench. Steps lead up to a larger terrace area with 8 seater picnic table and storage for surf boards, etc. One designated parking space and a few spaces for visitors. Small communal garden with a grassy area, brick built barbecue and drying area.
