Description

Conveniently located a mile from the centre of St Merryn village and a couple of miles from the sea, The Sandbar is a lovely comfortable modern home within easy reach of Padstow, Newquay and Wadebridge. There is plenty to see and do in the locality; seven beautiful sandy beaches, 3 golf courses, cycle paths and coastal walks offering wonderful wildlife and fantastic scenery. The village has a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Facilities on St Merryn Holiday Village include Indian restaurant, bar serving food, shop, tennis courts and launderette (seasonal opening times may apply to all facilities). The nearby Atlantic Bays and Maribou Park, both within easy walking distance, offer additional food and entertainment venues which can be accessed by visitors to The Sandbar. Padstow has a number of interesting shops, restaurants and galleries plus attractions such as the National Lobster Hatchery, the Elizabethan Manor House of Prideaux Place and cycle hire outlets so that you can explore the Camel Trail which follows the river all the way to Bodmin.
