This impressive property, circa 18th Century, stands next to the coast road on the hill overlooking Porthcothan and has super views across an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and to the sea. Recently restored to a high standard it is spacious, light, full of character and extremely comfortable. Features include new oak floors, central heating, woodburning stoves, double glazing, original slate floors, fireplaces and a glass-covered sealed well.  Extra luxuries include hand made Savoir beds, Die Zudecke goose down duvets and Egyptian cotton linen, Aga (with extra conventional cooker), steam shower and 42” digital plasma t.v.

Porthcothan Bay, a lovely sandy beach sheltered by sand dunes and a National Trust headland, is 600 yards away or 10 minutes on foot (all but 30 yds via a footpath). There is a small general stores right next to the beach, a local pub and in St Merryn (2 miles) a range of shops, including Post Office and baker. Trevose Golf Club (Championship 18 hole & 2 short courses and tennis courts) is 2 miles away. Padstow, a picturesque harbour town with interesting shops and Rick Stein’s Seafood and other restaurants, is 5 miles away. Other award winning restaurants nearby include Viners (Summercourt) and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall (Watergate Bay).
