Lower Trevorgus forms part of a delightful, traditional Cornish stone/slate farmhouse with lots of character including beamed ceiling to lounge and main bedroom and spacious farmhouse-style kitchen with terracotta floor.  The secluded position at the end of a long drive, in a partly wooded setting, allows countryside views from two of the bedrooms, yet only a 10 minute walk is the bustling village of St. Merryn which has enough shops, pubs, takeaways and restaurants to cater for all your needs during the season.  It is an ideal base for exploring this area of the North coast, being within easy striking distance of some of the finest beaches in Cornwall and only three miles from the charming fishing port of Padstow.  The Tate St. Ives is only an hours drive and even closer will be found the Eden Project.

ACCOMMODATION:- GROUND FLOOR: Entrance door into Kitchen Mexican-style terracotta tiled floor, range of units, dishwasher, gas hob, refrigerator, freezer, electric oven, microwave, pine table, 6 chairs, pine ceiling, cloaks cupboard. Door to Utility tiled walls/floor. Tumble drier, washing machine, sink. Back door to drying area. Off utility Shower room fully tiled, w.c., rinse hand basin, electric shower Lounge beamed ceiling, gas coal-effect stove with wooden surround, three piece suite, t.v., occasional tables, bookshelves, french doors to garden, stairs to first floor (2nd sittingroom locked; not available). Lobby to Bathroom pampas suite: w.c, basin, small bath FIRST FLOOR:- Bed.1 double bed (5'), window seats Bed.2 2 single beds (3'), airing cupboard Bed.3 bunks (3') All bedrooms have hanging space, chest of drawers and bedside unit(s). NB. Uneven stair treads and low window cills are part of the delightful character of many such lovely old cottages but parties with small children or the elderly should take care GARDEN & PARKING:- Sun room (accessed from drive as internal door locked), garden furniture. Long track leads to parking area for 2-3 cars and turning area (please keep clear), lawn and sunken sheltered patio with bench.
