This beautiful barn
conversion is situated in a quiet spot down the lane from St Issey towards
the River Camel Estuary. Built from Cornish stone on the side of the hill
the views of the estuary are lovely and the terrace in the garden takes
full advantage of this. The cottage is airy, comfortable and well
equipped and only a short distance from the Camel Trail, which follows the
route of the old railway line between Padstow and Bodmin, so you are only
about 35 minutes walk to Padstow. Better still - why not bring your bikes?
Much of the Trail lies beside the Camel estuary - an Area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty - and its natural beauty and wildlife is there to be
enjoyed, whatever time of the year you visit. The historic fishing town of
Padstow, having a number of seafood restaurants and interesting shops, is
well worth a visit and along the coast will be found a number of glorious
sandy beaches. There are golf courses either side of the Camel estuary
and the owners can provide you with ‘two for one’ vouchers for green fees.
