This lovely traditional Fisherman’s cottage in a quiet area of West Looe is ideal for couples, families or friends looking for a peaceful holiday on the Cornish coast. The location is perfect, less than half a mile from the picturesque harbour, where you can watch the fishermen at work, try your hand at crabbing, or simply sit and relax in one of the many cafes. It is less than a mile to East Looe’s family-friendly sandy beach, overlooked by the Banjo Pier.

The house retains its original charm, including wooden floors (downstairs) and white-washed walls, combining them effortlessly with comfortable, contemporary furnishings. A relaxing lounge with plush seating to unwind after a day at the beach and a TV makes this a lovely social space. Outside is an enclosed rear courtyard with outdoor furniture to take advantage of sunny days and enjoy breakfast or dinner alfresco.
Polperro (5 miles) is one of Cornwall’s most picturesque fishing villages and makes for a lovely day out. Head a little further to Lantic Bay (8 miles) and walk along the South West Coast Path as it winds through rugged headlands and spot the pretty coves. The Eden Project (20 miles) is a world-famous attraction where you can immerse yourself in nature. If you are in the mood for some thrills, head to Adrenalin Quarry (7 miles), which offers zip lining, coasteering and an outdoor adventure playground for the kids.
