Being so close to the harbour Methven is perfectly placed to take a walk up to the headland (0.5 miles) for stunning views of the town and out to sea. Book a fishing trip or a sealife safari at the harbour and go wildlife watching along the coast. Take the ferry across to Rock and walk to Polzeath (2 miles each way) Prideaux Place with its Elizabethan house, tearoom & deer park is only a few minutes’ walk. Carry on past Prideaux Place along a country lane to reach the lovely Tregirls beach.
