Gather a group and take a trip to this beautiful Cornish getaway. Situated near Porthcothan, you’ll be able to enjoy the coastal landscape and much more with your friends and family, then return to a comfortable and quiet cottage to spend quality time together.
The downstairs part of this property is mostly devoted to an open-plan living space which encompasses a kitchen, lounge and dining area into one. It’s perfect for socialising and is bright in the day, thanks to natural light through the glass patio doors, and cosy in the evening, due to the wood burner. The other ground floor room is a bunk bedroom. Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms: one king room and one twin, which can be arranged as a super-king bed on request, depending on your preferences. All are light and finished with wooden touches, which match the floor of the living space. Outside, you’ll see a enclosed garden with a lawn, a decking area and a picnic table. On sunny afternoons, be sure to fire up the BBQ for al fresco dining.
You’ll be staying about 1 mile from the small village of Porthcothan, which encompasses Porthcothan Beach. This is a fantastic spot for surfing and has places where you can hire equipment and organise lessons if you’re a beginner. The beach has a lifeguard for added safety. If you’d prefer to stay dry, but want the beautiful sea views, take a walk around the National Trust Trevose Headland (6 miles), where you can spot wildlife and see a lighthouse. Finish your holiday with a day out at Camel Creek Family Theme Park (6 miles) or visit Padstow (6.5 miles) for food, shopping and sea safaris.
