Enjoy a relaxed seaside break at this cosy cottage on the edge of Trenance where the pretty garden joins the footpath down to Mawgan Porth beach just 0.7 miles away. With an enclosed garden, a cosy wood burner, and a laidback vibe, it makes the perfect haven for friends or family plus their four-legged sidekick.
The bungalow has an easy going, seaside theme going on, with comfy furnishings and cool furniture to chill out on. Lounge on the plush sofas in the lounge/diner with the TV on or playing a game while Rover dozes by the wood burner. Enjoy meals at the dining table with views out of the French door having rustled them up in the fully equipped kitchen. There are two pretty bedrooms, a double and a twin – both have wardrobes and drawers for your holiday garb – and a family bathroom for quick showers and relaxing soaks. Open the French doors out to the enclosed garden, relax on the decked area with a cuppa and admire the sea views as your canine companion potters around happily.
Wander down the path and spend the day on the beach enjoying the sun, rock pooling or surfing, your four-legged friend is welcome there all year round. Go for a scenic walk along the coastal path to Watergate Bay (3 miles) where you can give kitesurfing and kite buggying a go with The Extreme Academy. Head north from the beach to visit Bedruthan Steps (just under 2 miles from the beach) passing Trenance Point and Carnewas Island. Mawgan Porth has a fish and chip shop, a pub, restaurants, pitch and putt, and village shop; hip surfing town Newquay (6 miles) and foodie heaven Padstow (5 miles) are within easy reach.
