Gather family and friends for an adventure on the coast at this impressive Victorian house with several spacious and thoughtfully designed areas to socialise both inside and out. The nearest beach, East Looe Beach, lies just 3 miles away for endless hours of fun in the gentle waves, sandcastle building and sublime Cornish ice cream as a treat.

The heart of this grand home is the living room, furnished with an Italian leather corner sofa in front of a window boasting gorgeous views of green and blue in the distance. Bold colours on a feature wall, a flame-effect gas fire and a TV ensure this space feels immediately like home to allow you to fully relax and spend time with your loved ones. At mealtimes, the chef of the family will love the quirky kitchen which is equipped to cater for larger groups with its double oven and vibrant decor, as well as a breakfast bar and dining area. For more formal mealtimes, the dining room is a fantastic space, offering seating for eight with the opportunity to throw open the sliding doors and extend the space outside. A handy utility room and cloakroom complete the ground floor. Upstairs on the first floor are the first three bedrooms, as well as a modern bathroom boasting a bath and a shower. The bedrooms comprise a king-size room with an en-suite, another king-size, and a twin room, all stylishly decorated in neutral colour palettes. On the second floor is the final bedroom, boasting a king-size bed, a private balcony and an en-suite bathroom. Sitting at the top of the property, the views from this room are wonderful, looking out along the river and offering an idyllic spot for a morning coffee. Outside is a veranda with comfortable garden furniture to ensure you can make the most of the beautiful location.

Spend time exploring East Looe and West Looe which are joined by a bridge across the river. In East Looe, you’ll find the harbour and main shopping hub, whilst West Looe is a little quieter but offers some great options for dining out, as well as a lovely beach. For a day trip out of town, why not visit the Eden Project (24 miles) or the Lost Gardens of Heligan (30 miles)? These two plant havens have much to see and do, from the rainforest biome and interactive exhibits at the Eden Project to the rope bridge and mossy sculptures hidden at Heligan.

The property in its self was very nice. Access into the property is ok if your an experienced mountain climber, very steep flight of stairs. Which is not a welcoming sight or something to look forward to, leaving, returning to the property if you are in any form disabled, older, infirmed, unfit. Sadly this is not outlined in the promotion of this Read moreproperty. Misleading to say the least. Picture make it look like its on the flat. Due to this, as we are all late 60's early 70's we found ourselves staying in. We would not recommend this property unless they have had SAS training. Therefore we think it was not value for money and would not recommend. This will be the review we will be sharing. Leaking radiator in top bedroom. Hide

A great, spacious property which is equipped to a high standard. Just need to be aware that there is currently a building site next door to the property Very close to the town of Looe but not an easy walk along the road from the property until you reach the safety of the footpath
