Enjoy your morning coffee with these incredible views from the stunning open plan living space or sitting outside on the patio; other special features include an Xbox and table tennis in the garden. The property is in the heart of Fowey, just up from the river and harbour close to shops, pubs, and restaurants. With a king-size bedroom and a kids’ twin room it’s the perfect retreat for a couple or family.

The cottage may look quaint form the outside but inside it’s uber modern. The stylish living space of a lounge, kitchen and diner takes over the entire first floor in the stunning upside-down property, with amazing light and views thanks to all the windows. Cooking and mealtimes are a pleasure in the kitchen and dining area, then kick back and relax in the lounge area watching TV or just take in the views with some music on. The bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs on the ground floor: an attractive king-size with a TV, DVD player and an Xbox, and a kids’ twin room (with 2’6” beds). Outside is a pretty garden overlooking the estuary with a patio and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining with a view.

There’s plenty to do nearby. Fowey aquarium is on the quay and houses some fascinating specimens brought in by local fishermen. The area is rich with picturesque walks through rolling hills, along beaches and headlands through coves and countryside. Strike out on the South West Coast Path to explore the coastline in both directions. The major attractions of the Eden Project (6.5 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (14.5 miles) are nearby and if you stay here during August, you’ll get to witness the great spectacle of the Royal Regatta.

A very well located cottage affording great views over the estuary. The property itself needs some maintenance to the front door, garden steps, decking and sun beds, all of which have seen better days. Being centrally located all of the town facilities are easily accessible. Parking is an issue with the best option to use the long term ones near thRead moree ferry, which also provides a much better access to the town than trying to drive through the town centre, especially when arriving on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Shame the promised bbq was missing given we had a week of unbroken sunshine. Overall we would recommend the property but it needs a bit of work to address its shortcomings. Hide

A great location in Fowey. Very central with amazing views from the living space. 10 minute walk from the nearest car park. Property needs some money spending on it, especially in the garden. Beds very soft, had bad backs by the end of the week. Lots to do in and around Fowey - great walks and shops in town to explore. Only used the car once. TableRead more tennis table great fun. Hide

I would stress the car parking issues in Fowey. We loved the area but everywhere you looked there were steep hills and very limited car parking close to the property.

The property is light and airy and in a good location being close to amenities and a leisurely walk to Readymoney cove. It is well equipped and comfortable with the added bonus of a garden complete with tennis table table!

Great place, feels a little tired inside, place to put the bins out, no convenient cleaning equipment.

Excellent accommodation for 2 adults. The location is perfect for the shops pubs and restaurants, and the double aspect views views over the estuary really add to the experience. Table tennis was a fun bonus and we even sat out in the garden in the late October sunshine! The property was clean and well maintained. It would possibly benefit from somRead moree more comfy sofas, but that's a minor quibble. Also, be prepared for a hike to the car park as stopping close by is tricky - but then the streets weren't design with that it mind! Hide
