Two roof terraces make this hidden hideaway a remarkable base for Cornish adventures, allowing you to sit and sip whilst the sun goes down on St Columb Major. This Cornwall town is a fantastic hive of activity, close to a selection of appealing day-out spots, not far from the bustling seaside town of Newquay (6.5 miles) and only a short drive from the airport (3.5 miles) for those flying in. Hosting six guests and also dog-friendly, the apartment lends itself perfectly to getaways with family or friends, made for making memories as a group with games rooms and cosy interiors.

Notice the first of the two roof terraces as you make your way into the property, entering via external steps. The second roof terrace is at the rear, and both offer incredible views and seating for basking in the sunshine. Inside, the property is split out over two storeys. On the lower floor, a kitchen/diner, a lounge and a separate games room offer plenty of space to spread out on relaxing evenings. There's a wood burner and a Smart TV in the living room, altogether creating the cosiest atmosphere for cold-weather stays. The first of three bedrooms sits alongside a bathroom on this floor. Move upstairs to find two further bedrooms, equally as cosy, with a final shared bathroom.

A fantastic destination to visit with kids, the property is close to Springfield Fun Park (2 miles), Screech Owl Sanctuary (3.5 miles), Camel Creek Adventure Park (5 miles) and Cornwall's favourite attraction, Eden Project (13 miles). The fun doesn't stop there with Newquay a haven of activity, complete with excellent surfing beaches, a zoo, plenty of seafront attractions and even an annual music festival. Those seeking to avoid the crowds of a busy town-centre beach can head to Mawgan Porth (5.5 miles) and enjoy the stretch of golden sand with far fewer visitors.

We got this house with quite a good discount and therefore it was great value. Its all newly renovated so all the equipment was new. Its in a very good position for exploring Cornwall but theres nothing much in the village.
