A stylish, colourful, and contemporary barn conversion retaining much of its original charm. Welcoming a group of six friends or a family, along with two canine companions, this Cornish coastal home boasts two outdoor areas, and access to a shared paddock.

This wonderful three storey property is super welcoming and is the perfect retreat for group getaways. On entering the ground floor, you will find two sumptuous king-size bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a handy cloakroom. Upstairs is the open-plan living space where you can socialise together and plan the days ahead. To one end is a tastefully designed kitchen with everything you need to rustle up a storm, and to the other is the lounge and dining space. Kick back on the comfortable sofa or sit around the dining table and play some games of an evening. There is also a handy shower room situated on this floor. Up on the third floor is a stunning master suite with second lounge area which has a TV and skylights, allowing the space to be flooded with light, and adjacent, a super-king-size bedroom. Outside is a AstroTurfed suntrap garden with seating, as well as a cosy decked area from the first floor lounge’s patio doors. Guests to this property will also have access to a shared paddock, where the dogs can run free, and you can enjoy the games area.

Mawgan Porth is a chic Cornish village set in a quiet spot along the coast. There are several beaches to enjoy in the area, including Mawgan Porth’s sandy stretch (0.5 miles) or the lovely long shoreline at Watergate Beach (2.5 miles). Head off on foot from the property along the Cornwall stretch of the South West Coast Path and soak up the superb scenery. Alternatively, enjoy a family day out at the remarkable Eden Project (17 miles).

What a fabulous stay in this beautiful, peaceful barn. Everything provided was of the very best quality and it really felt like home. We loved it and will be back again. The swallows were an added bonus as we watched them learning to fly outside the bedroom window!
