This delightful property, situated in the peaceful village of Four Lanes, is the perfect romantic haven for two. Sleeping you both in a peaceful double bed, this charming cottage is ideally located for exploring any corner of Cornwall. Stay close to home and walk or cycle the Great Flat Lode (1 mile), or head off to Lizard (19 miles) for breathtaking walks along the South West Coast Path. And when your legs are weary, return home to bubble away in the hot tub under the stars.

The holiday home, which is attached to the owner’s property but offers complete privacy, is bright and airy with breathtaking panoramic countryside views. Head through the utility hall to the kitchen diner, where exposed stone blended with sleek, contemporary kitchen worktops make it a pleasure to cook in. Enjoy romantic breakfasts at the table, looking out of the floor-to-ceiling windows across the fields. On sunny days, dine alfresco in the enclosed wrap-around garden; sizzle up a BBQ for dinner before jumping in the hot tub. Back inside, neutral decor in the lounge makes it a cosy place to relax after a long day of exploring, snuggled up on the sofa in front of the Smart TV. At bedtime, head upstairs to the tranquil bedroom with superb views from your bedside. Finally, a shower room with calming blue tones completes the property.

Head off to stunning Portreath Beach (5.5 miles) for the day or visit the dramatic cliffs of Basset Cove (6.5 miles). Try kayaking or canoeing at Stithians Lake (2 miles) or enjoy a more sedate afternoon in Porthleven (10.5 miles) where you can tuck into fish and chips or a drink as you watch the world go by. Don’t forget a visit to the Poldark Mine (5 miles) if you’re a fan of the TV series.

Lovely cottage in a good location for access to southern Cornwall and reasonably priced in the early summer season. However, parking is on the busy roadside, which is not ideal.
