This quaint cottage boasts an enviable position in Padstow’s popular harbour area, within easy reach of the town’s fantastic array of pubs and restaurants. The property sleeps six guests and is ideal for families and groups of friends looking to immerse themselves in all that North Cornwall has to offer, from breathtaking beaches to idyllic fishing villages. Nearby family days out include The Eden Project (22 miles), Tintagel Castle (20 miles), and Camel Creek Adventure Park (5 miles).

The period cottage dates back over 200 years and is bursting with charm and character, with its beamed ceilings and exposed stonework. On the ground floor you’ll find a cosy lounge, with a collection of colourful seating arranged around a Smart TV – unwind here, after a long coastal walk, watching a film or reading a book. The separate kitchen/diner has everything needed for a stress-free, self-catering holiday, and completing the ground floor is a stylish bathroom and a handy utility room. From the lounge, a striking, open-tread staircase leads to the three inviting bedrooms on the first floor – a king-size room, a welcoming double, and a bunk room. There is no outside space, but with the harbour on your doorstep and fabulous coastal walks nearby, you’ll have ample choice when it comes to your morning stroll.

Padstow is a vibrant coastal town, with exquisite restaurants (many of which serve delicious local seafood), as well as charming cafes, cool coffee shops, and cosy pubs. The popular Camel Trail starts/ends in the town, offering traffic-free walking and cycling through the scenic, North Cornwall countryside. The South West Coast Path also passes through Padstow, and you can follow it to the secluded beaches of St George’s Cove (1 mile) or Harbour Cove (3 miles).

This is a nice cottage in an excellent location, it feels a little tired inside and we did have some maintenance issues but they were quickly rectified by the cottage company.
