Introduce your loved ones and furry friend to pretty West Cornwall with a stay at this converted barn, tucked away on a peaceful dairy farm in a lovely rural spot. It’s located 0.5 miles from Ponsanooth, a scenic village with handy amenities including a shop and a friendly inn. With plenty of charm and rural views, this is the ideal set-up for a tranquil getaway with family or friends.

With its traditional stone exterior, the cottage has a rustic look and feel to it. Step inside and unwind in the open-plan living area, which forms a central hub for socialising and relaxing. You’ll have a comfortable corner sofa where you can park the children for a film using the Smart TV while you catch up with some reading. The kitchen's patio doors open to invite the fresh Cornish breeze inside. When it's time to call it a night, enjoy the choice of a sumptuous king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, or a cosy twin, served by the family bathroom. When the weather’s good, the peaceful enclosed garden is a wonderful space to spend time, with a large lawn and a patio with furniture. Fire up the BBQ, then tuck in as you admire the tranquil pastoral views.

Ponsanooth is perched on the banks of the River Kennal and contains a lovely nature reserve (1 mile) for walking the dog. In nearby Falmouth, wander around the shops and art galleries before choosing an eatery for a spot of lunch or dinner, with many restaurants serving locally caught seafood. Afterwards you can take a stroll around Falmouth Harbour, one of the world's largest natural harbours, or enjoy a 20-minute stroll to the historic Pendennis Castle, a fantastic spot for savouring a Cornish ice cream while overlooking Falmouth Bay.

We had a wonderful weekend at Foxglove Cottage. The cottage was clean and beautifully presented, with plenty of room for our young family. The added bonus of the large garden was great! It was such a quiet relaxing property, we will definitely be back!! Highly recommend and the owners were extremely helpful. A lovely holiday cottage.
