A cosy, quaint, and romantic retreat, with plenty of space for you and your loved one to enjoy spending quality time together. Two dogs are also welcome along for the trip, and the enclosed garden with patio area and lawn is perfect for you all to relax and frolic together.

Heading inside, you will find an open-plan space which is super welcoming with comfortable and homely furnishings and décor. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has everything you need to rustle up hearty breakfasts, prepare picnics, and cook up delicious dinners. After a busy day exploring the Cornish coastline, curl up on the sofas and get stuck into a good film. A roaring wood burner is also provided to keep you warm on those chilly nights. At the other end of the property is a king-size bed, and a shower room completes the accommodation. Outside to the front of the property is a small patio area with seating, and to the rear, a further patio with seating, and a large, enclosed, lawn space.

Wander along the charming paths that lead from the doorstep and wind through the countryside and along the North Cornwall coast. Visit the pretty village of Kilkhampton which is less than 0.5 miles down the road and contains a chippy, pub, and a handy convenience store. The bustling seaside resort of Bude is 5 miles away, where you can enjoy sandy shores, rock pooling, and water sports, such as kayaking. If you are a pair of history lovers, visit the stately home of Hartland Abbey and Gardens, dating back to the 12th Century (12 miles).

Brilliant place to stay. Most importantly the Bed was Super Comfy. Our GSD absolutely loved the large, safe lawn and garden area which was completely safe and secure. Can't wait to return.

South Park Lodge is an ideal property for short or long stays. It is very well equipped and we found everything to be well maintained and clean. The lodge is in a great location in that it is quiet, a short walk to the village shops and perfect for days out with a large number of attractions within a hours drive at most. Wonderful quiet location, the cottage was super spacious and clean... and oh MY what a comfortable bed!! I'm often desperate to get back to my own bed after a stay away but not this time - the bed was supremely comfortable. This is a fantastic holiday let with modern facilities in a quiet area. The enclosed garden was great for our dog. Local shops nearby for anything you need and a short drive to some wonderful areas of North Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again. Would recommend

Great lodge lovely and peaceful and great for our sausage dog, she loved the garden. We found the campsite opposite very useful to walk the dog as they had great dog walking facilities. Great location to visit all areas of Bude, Bideford , Barnstaple etc. The Tamar Lakes for a lovely dog walk highly recommended
