Whisk your family and friends away to this idyllic modern property in the heart of the picturesque Tamar Valley. Gather your family of five and happy hound and prepare for lush landscapes, wildlife spotting, fascinating heritage and family attractions.

Laid out in reverse to maximise the scenic views, your magnificent holiday home is brimming with natural light, high ceilings and cosy furnishings. Head upstairs to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to spend time together toasting to your special holiday, streaming a film or playing cards around the dining table. This bright and airy ambience continues into the kitchen, where a stylish space offers ample room for cooks to serve up the locally caught seafood you purchased earlier in the day. Eat together around the table or carry your plates and Cornish tipples to the large garden to dine alfresco in the evening sunshine. Downstairs, three beautifully appointed bedrooms provide relaxation after a day of adventures, while down the hall, the main bathroom invites guests to soak weary muscles in the tub.

When you're not going off the beaten track through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, spend lazy days strolling around the National Trust property of Cotehele House (3 miles) with its atmospheric medieval roots and expansive estate grounds to explore. Remember to stop for coffee and slabs of cake here, too. Further afield, Morwellham Quay (5 miles) offers the chance to experience a living history museum, while animal enthusiasts may like to visit the Tamar Valley Donkey Park (2 miles).
