With its country pub and rural location, St Issey is an enviable place for a peaceful Cornish holiday. Take an easy 2-mile footpath up to the banks of the River Camel to admire the scenery or embark on a longer excursion, perhaps setting off on the 17-mile Camel Trail route by bike or on foot. Along this route is the town of Padstow (3 miles), a vibrant harbour town that’s well-known for its incredible restaurants and plenty of boat trip options including a sea safari or the passenger ferry over to neighbouring Rock (5 miles).
