Nestled in the pretty village of Little Petherick, just outside Padstow, this beautiful Canadian-style log cabin is ideal for families or friends looking for a restful holiday and a base to explore the beautiful Cornish countryside and coastline. For keen walkers, trails lead from the lodge to Little Petherick Creek, a popular spot with nature lovers, and continue to Padstow (3.5 miles), where you can join the well-renowned South West Coast Path.

Step into the delightful lodge and find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This lovely sociable living space boasts a floor-to-ceiling wooden interior beautifully put together to create a warm, stylish atmosphere. A range of comfortable seating is provided so you can sit back and relax in front of the electric coal effect fire and watch your favourite movies on the Smart TV. A contemporary kitchen provides all appliances needed to cook a lovely meal. There is a family bathroom and two bedrooms - a twin and a king-size - on the ground floor with plentiful wardrobe storage. Climb the stairway to a mezzanine-style snug, with a balcony to enjoy the stunning countryside views. A king-size bedroom with a balcony and en suite shower room is on this level. Outside to the rear is a three-tiered garden with comfortable seating, garden dining furniture for dining alfresco and a bistro set at the very top to enjoy the gorgeous views and rays of sun, while an outside dining space to the front is the perfect spot for a bite to eat or drinks in the evening.

Padstow (3 miles) is the end/start point for the Camel Cycle Trail. The town is famous for its fine shops and eateries, particularly seafood restaurants. Across the water are beautiful Rock Beach and Polzeath Beach, both under 15 miles away, with golden sands and turquoise waters, perfect for building sandcastles and for water sports. Alternatively, head to the family friendly Pencarrow House and Gardens (9 miles).
