Situated in picturesque Looe on the quieter west side, this delightful apartment offers spectacular views over the town, harbour and sea. Sleeping four over two peaceful bedrooms, this property is ideal for families, couples or friends looking for a base to return to after a long day out exploring the beautiful South East Cornwall coast. Head off down the South West Coast Path to pretty Polperro (5.5 miles) where the model village and beach will keep you busy all day, or simply spend the afternoon on East Looe Beach (1 mile) making sandcastles with the kids and enjoying the scenery.

This single-level property, which experiences variable mobile signal, allows you to completely switch off from busy life. The open-plan living area is fresh and bright with tasteful contemporary touches, including bold kitchen units and glossy worktops and beautiful wood floors. Enjoy magnificent views over the town from the large window in the living area and get comfy on the sofas as you plan tomorrow’s activities with your other guests. At bedtime, tranquil pastel tones in the bedrooms will help you drift off to sleep; wake up refreshed and ready for another day of adventure.

If you want a change of scenery from East Looe Beach, head up to Plaidy (3 miles; 1.5-mile walk) or Millendreath (3.5 miles; 2-mile walk). Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary (5 miles) is a great family day out, as is the must-visit Eden Project (21.5 miles) where fascinating biomes, play areas and activities like rock climbing will keep the whole group busy. Explore three underground caves at Carnglaze Caverns (14.5 miles) and pretty wooded hillside; if you prefer to stay above-ground, stroll around the National Trust’s Lanhydrock (16.5 miles) where you’ll find the late-Victorian country house surrounded by gardens, woodland and riverside paths.

This is a modern, clean and comfortable apartment with a spectacular view from the lounge window of the entrance to Looe harbour. The location is high up in East Looe and therfore up quite a steep incline, this may not suit to those with mobility issues. The host was very attentive and helpful and took care to ensure our stay was enjoyable. If we rRead moreeturn to Looe we would most definitely stay there again. Hide

Beautiful view ( probably best I've had in a holiday cottage) and very comfortable apartment. Some kitchen equipment missing although owners quickly provided a corkscrew and tin opener. Other things such as games, local information and a hairdryer would have been good to have.
