This wonderful property, situated in the heart of St Ives less than 350 metres from the historic harbour, is the perfect holiday home for couples or small families looking for a relaxing place to stay that’s still close to plenty of fun things to do. Sleeping four across two peaceful bedrooms, this holiday home is an opportunity to escape the stresses of busy life and take a break among stylish interiors before heading off to explore the coast and country. Step into the terraced cottage into a bright and airy open-plan living area. Cook up a storm in the contemporary kitchen and eat at the dining table, or curl up on the sofa in front of the decorative wood burner with a good book. Get some peace and quiet in the second sitting room among blue and white tones, or enjoy an alfresco drink in the pretty courtyard garden before heading to bed. Take the second-floor double bedroom to snuggle into bed among white wood-panelled walls and ceilings and wake up to amazing sea views towards Hayle Towans Beach.

After exploring art-inspiring St Ives, take a beach day to the golden sands of Carbis Bay (2 miles). Let the kids run off some steam at Paradise Wildlife Park and JungleBarn (5.5 miles) where there’s an indoor play centre as well as animals to meet. You can’t miss a trip to St Michael’s Mount (9 miles); take a boat and stroll around the castle and its gardens. We had a lovely stay at 26 Wesley Place. It was a perfect location, lovely accommodation and plenty of facilities. The shower was great!!!! We like to cook and were impressed with the facilities available to us. It may be a good idea to advise customers that a weekly parking ticket is available at local car parks and you cannot park outside. ItRead more was fine for us but I would imagine it a little tricky getting spaces in the height of the season. We had a wonderful time and love St. Ives - my favourite place in the world!!!! Hide

The cottage is in a quiet location (apart from the early rising seagulls that are clearly uncontrollable) within easy walking distance of the town and numerous beaches. There were a few missing bits of basic kitchen equipment and dodgy blinds which affected getting access to natural light but these are easily rectifiable. The sun only really hit thRead moree back terrace in August mid morning, so fab for a late breakfast but not much else. It was however more spacious than we expected, inside. This part of Cornwall is really beautiful and absolutely full of opportunities for enjoyment whatever your passion is. Hide

Nice location, close to town and shops etc. Spacious inside with some nice views from top floor. Has everything you could possibly want and need for your stay. The only issues we had were that the allocated bin was full on arrival and overspilling when we left (no lock on the bin!) and none of it was our rubbish! Also the dryer did not work - this Read morewould not have been an issue if Id known before but I packed thinking I would have this facility Hide

A great stay and superbly central - really cosy but lots of room because of the basement and attic rooms. The dog loved having so much space to run around.
