Step straight out from this romantic retreat to spend time on the sand at Porthmeor Beach or to pick up the South West Coast Path and head out along the cliffs. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom, ground-floor apartment, makes a comfortable base for couples eager to escape to St Ives, especially if they have a dog in tow. Well positioned for the many shops, galleries and eateries of the Cornish town, it is also close to the headland known as the Island.

Wander inside to find generous space for the two of you to enjoy. There is a kitchen/diner, where you can prepare hearty breakfasts to set you up for the day and whip up delicious dinners to enjoy on the evenings you choose to stay in. The lounge/diner, with another table to dine at, is also an inviting space. Watch the Smart TV, listen to music and relax on the window seat, with its partial view of the beach, in here. When you are ready to turn in for the night, run yourself a long, hot bubble bath in the bathroom before enjoying a good night’s sleep in the inviting double bedroom. There is no outside space with the holiday home but you are just 40 metres from the beach. Parking is in nearby public pay car parks.

Enjoy having Porthmeor Beach right on your doorstep or stroll over to Porthminster Beach, 0.5 miles away. Here there are opportunities for water sports such as sea kayaking and paddle boarding. For a change of scene also try Bamaluz Beach, 350 away. Stroll approximately 500 metres from your holiday hideaway to peruse the colourful bars, cafes and galleries of St Ives. Tate St Ives is 350 metres away and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden is a 500-metre stroll.

This apartment is ideally placed, not only for the beach, but all the other amenities that St Ives has to offer, (shops, walks, sea views, galleries etc). Over all we had a wonderful stay , would recommend the property but probably not in the height of the season because of the amount of people passing the window on the way to the beach .

Our stay at Nicholas Court was very enjoyable. The location is fantastic, & the apartment was well equipped & comfortable . The staff at St Ives were very helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

Very well appointed renovations and decorations have taken place since my last stay a couple of years ago. In particular the whole bathroom is now really excellent, and the kitchen decor refreshed, with some new appliances. I'll have no hesitation in booking again !

The location of the property was perfect! Literally right on Porthmeor Beach slipway. Although this means there is constant noise from passing footfall, kids screaming, balls bouncing and cars etc. It was noisy pretty much from 5am - late into the night, so this isn't a property to relax in. The kitchen cupboards had a musty smell, some drawer haRead morendles were missing and there were only 3 glasses. Also, the property only has one window in the lounge. There are no other windows so it was quite claustrophobic. The sofa was covered in sand on arrival, we had to get the vacuum out and we found multiple pieces of glass on the lounge floor. I've stayed in 5 different St Nicholas court properties and I would return to them all except this one. St ives holidays were very quick to help though when we requested a fan and had an issue with the key, so no fault on their part. Hide

Enjoyed our stay there liked the property , the shower leaked and the floor needed mopping after each use , and the property smelled musty made use of the dehumidifier that was at the property.apart from those small points really enjoyed our stay there .

This property was very clean and spacious the view from the window seat is great ! I would highly recommend this appartment its had a new bathroom since last time I came which enhances things more so lots of room the pictures do not do this place justice ! Perfect for just watching the waves crash and beautiful sunsets ! Ive booked again ! This wilRead morel be my 3rd visit :) Hide
