The house has a mix of quaint and contemporary, where original features sit alongside stylish designs and luxurious touches, including underfloor heating in the kitchen/lounge/diner on the lower ground floor. It’s a great space to relax, chat over a few drinks, rustle up and enjoy meals together. There’s a second living area/snug on the ground floor with a Smart TV and river views, as well as a cloakroom with a WC and a beautiful light double bedroom with lots of clothes storage and an en-suite shower room. The garden, accessed from the kitchen, has a large patio area and multiple seating/eating areas all with incredible views.

There are wonderful walks through open fields, on rugged cliffs and along stunning beaches (the nearest beach is 1 mile away).

Location lovely, but the house really does need some tlc and someone to look at it through the eyes of visitors. (E.g. entrance just not welcoming, wifi signal not strong enough to use the smart tv etc).

Lovely cottage in great location, with lots of space for 6 people. Great outlook and access to the beach when low tide. We would definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay in Stepaside, comfortable beds and great views. However, the washing machine and oven need some minor repairs and the sofas upstairs we feel need replacing-they have clearly done many years service!

We had the most amazing Christmas there. Kitchen so well equipped and the kitchen/lounge the most amazing social space with a fantastic view and the sound of lapping water.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stepaside Cottage. It had a cracking view over the water which we enjoyed from the courtyard. It was well equipped & secure. A little tricky to access the cottage to unpack due to the super narrow road, which made it a stressful arrival, but Caffa Mills car park is only a 5 minute walk away so easy to carry our things Read moreback to our parked car. The kitchen area was a very sociable space for us three couples, & we werent on top of one another. We were vety central so within very easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants & shops. Hide

Amazing waterfront property ideally located between the centre of town and only a couple of minutes walk to the car park. Cosy, yet spacious and a great garden to enjoy morning coffee and an evening beer - even in February!

A great house for families or even better a ladies break away! The beds and linen are really good and the house warms up well in the winter. The kitchen is a good size and well thought out, an all rooms have a view to the river. We have been back twice now and love it. An exceptional property - very spacious and comfortable for 6, in an exceptional location - close to the town and with waterfront access. A great location for special occasions - very much worth the cost.
