Tucked away on one of Padstow’s quirky Cornish streets, this marvellous little cottage has been thoroughly updated to offer an exceptional place to stay. Benefiting from the traditional design elements of an original fisherman’s cottage yet fully modernised to suit any group of family or friends, this one-of-a-kind holiday home presents a marvellous base for four guests to call their own. Wander on down to the harbour where you can embark on a boat trip, follow a clifftop pathway along to the beach and be sure to try out one of Padstow’s outstanding eateries throughout your stay.

Truly bijou, the property is set out over three stories with steep, winding staircases leading between them. With contemporary décor and a high-standard finish, the ground floor is thoughtfully laid out for nights of relaxation. Sink into a plush velvet sofa with the Smart TV on in the lounge, prepare meals in the bright galley kitchen and sit around together in the dining area. Follow a spiral staircase up to the first first floor to discover a beautiful bathroom and a freestanding bath that’s a dream to sink into before heading to the bedroom to relax. From the main entrance just off the lounge there is another set of stairs where you will to find a king-size bedroom on the second first floor and a bright twin in the attic with lots of natural light. Similarly laid out over multiple levels is the suntrap garden which can be reached via the kitchen, a hidden gem of an area with a sundeck, patio and flower garden.

Reach all of Padstow’s amenities within half a mile of your doorstep, including the working harbour and the popular National Lobster Hatchery. Just a little further away is Padstow Beach (1 mile), a sheltered sandy cove where memories can be made on warm summer days. Hire a bike (or bring your own) to embark on a trip along the Camel Trail (0.5 miles), an 18-mile cycling route that highlights some of North Cornwall’s most delectable sceneries.

A fabulous cottage tucked at the back of Padstow by the church- we loved the bell practising whilst sat outside. We also loved the interior of the cottage and found it to be well equipped. It is the perfect place to be able to nip down to the harbour or to just chill in the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again in the futRead moreure. Hide
