The annexe makes an ideal base for a family holiday. It’s a comfy home from home with stylish interiors, a huge garden and is all on one level. Just 1.5 miles from Newquay town centre, there’s heaps to do nearby and it’s perfectly placed for exploring more of Cornwall.
Along from the entrance hall you arrive in the lounge/diner – a light and bright space made for relaxing and eating together. It has an electric fire for cosy nights in front of the smart TV and a dining table in the bay window. If you’re grabbing a quick bite or a solitary cup of coffee there’s a breakfast bar in the kitchen, equipped with everything you’d expect for home cooking. There are two bedrooms, a super king size bed that offers the option to be made up as a twin and a cosy twin with a smart TV, a contemporary family bathroom and a second separate WC. The garden is amazing. There’s a large deck with somewhere to sit and take it all in and a massive lawn the kids will love.
Being 1.5 miles from the town centre, you get the best of both worlds: all the fun of bustling Newquay and a quiet place to chill. Head to any one of the numerous beaches (from 2 miles away) to sunbathe, go rock pooling, or catch a wave. There’s lots for kids nearby, including Newquay Zoo 1 mile from the centre, and Pirates Quest crazy golf for some swashbuckling fun (they have regular events, check online). The awe-inspiring Eden Project is 18 miles away – you’ll probably need at least half a day to see everything. As well as being ‘the surfing capital of the UK’, Newquay is famous for its great range of shops, pubs, and restaurants. For a treat, head to Padstow, 15 miles away, home to amazing seafood restaurants, including more than one with a Michelin star.
