A delightful, converted barn nestled in the grounds of the owners’ home in an idyllic setting on the picturesque Lizard Peninsula. Comfortable accommodation for couples looking to explore and relax.

Brimming with rustic charm, this cute cottage makes the perfect romantic retreat from which to explore the beautiful area surrounding the Lizard Peninsula. The characterful property has retained many of its original features and has a pretty country cottage garden where you can unwind at the end of the day. There’s also a large lawn – ideal for four-legged guests. The bustling maritime town of Falmouth, with its vast array of eateries, is 8 miles away and you’ll also be just 0.5 miles from the village pub in Constantine.

The single-storey barn conversion sits adjacent to the owner’s home, yet privacy and seclusion are assured. At the heart of the home is the cosy lounge/diner, with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. Enjoy dinner for two at the table overlooking the garden, before snuggling up on the sofa with a glass of wine and your favourite show on the Smart TV or DVD player. To the front of the cottage is a delightful garden of mature shrubs and colourful flowers. Relax here in the Cornish sunshine as your dinner cooks on the BBQ.

The Lizard Peninsula has a truly unique landscape; hidden sandy bays sit alongside dramatic black rocks jutting out into the sea. Follow the coastal path for jaw-dropping views or head into one of the many quaint fishing villages, where you’ll find picture-postcard thatched cottages, restaurants serving freshly caught seafood, and traditional Cornish taverns. For more hustle and bustle, head into the vibrant town of Falmouth. Known for its water sports – particularly sailing – it’s the perfect place to get the adrenaline pumping out on the water. Alternatively, roll out your beach mat and soak up the rays on one of Falmouth’s golden, sandy beaches. If you don't fancy driving out for the day, there are lovely walks straight from the doorstep including some beautiful local woods.

Lovely cottage with every amenity you could need. Very comfortable with an enclosed garden which was important for our little dog! Jenny, the owner, lives next door but you wouldn't know it. You feel totally private. Constantine is a very quiet village but within easy striking distance of so many amazing places. The Cornish Arms is the closest pub Read more(5 minute walk) and so-so, but the Trengilly Watha is 100% worth the extra walk (10 mins) for food and drink. Top class. All in all a great break. Hide

Small but perfectly formed little cottage. The bed is comfortable and most things have been thought off. The access to a secure garden is great when you have a dog. A great place to explore the area. The kitchen is small but adequate when you eat out most of the time when on holiday. Unfortunately 2 of the local inns were not open or serving food WRead moree did use the Trengilly Watha Inn which serves nice food and has a god choice. We did walk it once but not for the faint hearted. Hide
