Experience the best of both of Cornwall’s stunning coastlines with this perfectly positioned two-bedroom cottage in the heart of the county. Spend your days discovering the wild and rugged north coast with its windswept sandy beaches and cliff-top footpaths or the picturesque sheltered south with its quaint fishing villages and tropical gardens before returning for a bite to eat in the local pub, just 1 mile away. Back at the property, warm up beside one of the two wood burners or soak up the Cornish sunshine with a BBQ in the enclosed terrace garden.

Bursting with character, the welcoming accommodation starts with a stable door. Once inside, find a country-style kitchen complete with a Rangemaster oven, quarry tiled floor, window seat and wood burner set into an original inglenook fireplace. A second wood burner can be found in the charming lounge, which is adorned with exposed ceiling beams and stone walls, making it the perfect place to cosy up on chilly evenings. Meanwhile, a sunroom opening onto the garden is a peaceful spot for reading and relaxing in the daytime. Upstairs, two delightful bedrooms with countryside views and Smart TVs share a bathroom with an inviting roll-top bath. Stepping outside, the private and enclosed terrace provides plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy sunny al fresco meals.

Conveniently located just 1 mile from the A30, this is a great choice for families hoping to see as much of this stunning county as possible. Heading north, the lively seaside town of Newquay (6.5 miles) boasts a vast selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs together with an aquarium and a choice of dog-friendly sandy beaches. Meanwhile in the south, find the cathedral city of Truro (8.5 miles), the picturesque Roseland Heritage Coast (15 miles) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (16.5 miles) among many other popular attractions. We had an amazing stay at Tredinnick Farm Cottage. Both Michael and Jennifer were so welcoming, not to mention the fact that the cottage is absolutely stunning. We felt so at home, and for people like us who are thinking of moving to Cornwall, staying here made our minds up! A rather quirky cottage which was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Master bedroom is large with a huge comfy bed. The twin room is also a good size. Nice bathroom with a great shower. The little garden over the road was a very handy place to walk our dog. The farmhouse is absolutely gorgeous. It is ideal for families and dogs. Taller people need to duck under doorways but apart from that, it was lovely! Road outside is busy but we got used to it very quickly (we are from a quiet village so not the norm for us). Lastly, the hostess and partner could not do enough for us. They met us on arrival, but dRead moreidnt interfere in our holiday, even though they live on site. And also recommended a Chinese takeaway which was amazing! Great place to stay! Hide

Stunning. Beautiful and cosy cottage that is still really spacious. Gorgeous beams and fireplaces. Location is fabulous if you have kids as there's so much to do close by. Owners were friendly and so so helpful.
