Welcoming and spacious living spaces throughout are fitted with sumptuous decor and period features, inviting guests to relax in the drawing room, snuggled up by the cosy fire, or to enjoy the sun streaming through the double doors of the morning room, which also has a homely open fire and Smart TV. Cook up a feast in the farmhouse style kitchen with an Aga and rustic dining table which create a wonderful country living atmosphere. Children will appreciate the games room cellar down a set of stairs with table football, a pool table and a dart board. Completing the ground floor is the first of eleven bedrooms, each appointed with luxurious decor, vintage furniture, and comfortable beds. Eight of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, each with an en-suite, while the final two bedrooms are in the castellated turrets with beautiful views of the estate. Spend lazy afternoons on one of the three terraces overlooking the ambling Tamar River playing bowls or croquet, or explore the impressive 55 acres of grounds, including woodlands, orchards, and the Lime Avenue.

Venture further afield with outdoor pursuits on the South Coast, with the dramatic views from the South West Coast Path perfect for walking enthusiasts, as well as wonderful beaches dotted along the way, such as Whitsand Bay 15 miles away. Pentillie was a wonderful place to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary with all our children and grandchildren. The location was better than we had expected and the house itself was very comfortable, perfect for a family get together of all ages. The children are already planning a return visit! Thank you

We had a WONDERFUL time at Pentillie. The venue is first class: beautiful, elegant, comfortable (oh the beds!), spotlessly clean & extraordinarily well-equipped. The gardens & walks are glorious. The staff are courteous yet friendly - just right. Special mention must be made of the willingness to accommodate guests with limited mobility: my brotherRead more in law is in advanced stages of progressive MS & was able to enjoy the weekend along with the rest of us. Our dog was in Heaven too! Glorious! Hide
