Really nice dog-friendly house in an amazing location within walking distance to Charlestown. We used it as a base to explore various tourist attractions from The Lost Gardens of Heligan to Land's End along with some (private access) beach time locally! We were worried that it would be too hot with so many windows, but the house stayed just right wRead moreith a nice breeze through when the windows are open. We also got to see the Perseids meteor shooting stars from the balcony :-). Hide

we spent 6 days in this nice house. It is close to the private beach and we liked Charlestown which you can walk in a few Minutes. The view from the house was great and we only can recommend it.

Clean, well-kitted house in a very quiet area with access to lovely little beach. Not a long walk from Charlestown. House does have lots of stairs so not for the elderly or infirm.

Montauk is a very warm, comfortable and well equipped house. We liked the location, it was easy to walk to Charlestown, and there is a bus stop nearby. The beach would be great in drier weather as would the easy access to the coast path.

We had a really wonderful stay at Montauk. The private beach access is wonderful and it's approximately a 5-10 minute walk downhill. The house itself was clean, well equipped and had everything you might need during your stay - including a few board games and access to Sky. The house is across four floors (including the parking bay at the back on tRead morehe ground floor) and after a while even our fairly fit family felt the stairs in our knees! Would recommend, will return if back in the area. Hide

Fantastic house equipped with everything you could possibly need. Just a 10 min walk to Charlestown where there were ample restaurants - we only tried 3 of them but they were all good. Short drive to supermarket (Tesco, Asda, Aldi all close by) and to local take aways. Great location for a base to explore Cornwall. Easy to find. Great holiday, the property is easily accessible from a number of places. The private beach was a benefit and worth the walk down, as was the coastal path walk to Charlestown. It was really well equipped and the information pack, leaflets etc were very helpful. I would definitely stay again

Beautiful house, equipped with everything you might need. Might not be so good for someone elderly or with mobility problems as there are 4 levels and lots of stairs (although the front door is actually one floor up). Wonderful location, close to coastal path down to Charlestown, and there is a local bus with a stop very near. Would highly recommenRead mored Montauk. Hide
