Extended families and larger groups looking for a memorable stay in a very comfortable and chic property will really enjoy this impressive reverse-level barn conversion. It's on a working farm, a mile from quaintly-named Praze-an-Beeble and 4 miles from Gwithian with its long sandy surf beach, in beautiful West Cornwall. You'll be wowed by the sense of space and freedom in the spectacular open-plan upstairs kitchen/dining/living ‘long room' which runs the length the building, and your private garden with a hot tub will bring true relaxation.
The ‘long room' has an airy pitched ceiling with solid timber beams. The kitchen end is stylishly arranged around a worktop island, so cooking can be a shared enjoyment. Colours are muted and subtle, and furnishings are in traditional countryside-style. A hamper full of excellent local comestibles will welcome you, so you can throw together some nibbles and enjoy a drink on the lawned seating area as soon as you arrive. There's a BBQ hut so look out for excellent local fish or sausages in the shops to sizzle up a family feast.
Learn to surf under the tutelage of the surf school at Gwithian, get a culture fix at the Tate St Ives gallery, within 12 miles, and you can check out the character of the South Cornish coast at Marazion and St Michael's Mount, 8 miles away. Newlyn and Penzance, both within 15 miles, are famous for delicious locally-caught fish. From here it's only another 5 miles to Sennen Cove and iconic Land's End.
