Introducing a fabulous family holiday home, close to the beaches and adventures that Cornwall's north coast has to offer. This home-away-from-home was designed with groups in mind; guests can enjoy relaxing in the snug room, dining together alfresco and falling into a deep slumber in one of the comfy bedrooms.

After a day of exploring, return to Higher Marshes and cook up a storm in the kitchen before challenging someone to a game of pool. There is an Xbox 360 and Smart TV available, so you can access apps such as BBC iPlayer, stream films on Netflix or surf the web on the big screen. The large and attractive back garden of this property is enclosed, making it the perfect safe space to enjoy sunny days.

Wave chasers, determined walkers and culture seekers will find so much to do within the proximity of this property. From the excellent sandy beaches to the nearby canal, and from the plentiful restaurants to the brilliant shops of Bude, there's certainly enough to keep you entertained. The popular beach of Summerleaze is only a mile away, but if you venture west down the coast, you'll stumble across a top surfing spot at Widemouth Bay. The South West Coast path is only a short distance away, offering fantastic walking routes in both directions.

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

It won't come as a surprise as this is our regular holiday home that we love the place. Location is perfect. The house has everything you could possibly need. All credit to the owners and the cleaners.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Higher Marshes. The property was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for 3 generations to spread out. It is very well positioned for walking into Bude.

Lovely cottage Perfect location , ample spaces for all the family Loved the walk to the canal in the evening and the olive tree was amazing for food , we had 3 visits there plus Brendan arms was wonderful too x

Higher Marshes was perfect for our family (3 generations). We had everything we needed. The location was great, we didn't use the cars at all! We all loved the walk from the cottage through the marshes & along the canal into the centre of Bude.

Really lovely house in a great location. You can walk everywhere and be at the sandy beach in 15 minutes. Local pub 10 mins away and canal really close for a lovely walk and recommend if you like no hills. Property clean and comfortable, really liked the snug with games and kitchen, which was well equipped. We had a lovely holiday and made special Read morememories with our family. Hide

Absolute dream of a holiday house. The location is perfect. A short walk along a picturesque canal into Bude town and the beach. Near to shops and restaurants, but not too near! We have already booked our 5th stay for next year, that says it all really.

Great location, spacious rooms and well equipped kitchen. If you are taking a dog, they are not allowed on the sofa or upstairs. A stair gate is provided.

Great location with easy access to town and beach. Best fish and chips at the Mermade Brendon Arms for great meals and service. Walking distance to beach and town. Value for money unfortunately no.

The cottage is in an excellent location very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. On arrival the cottage was very clean, we were missing a few towels but this was soon rectified. Beds were very comfy and living space is spacious. The pool table in the garage is dark and we never used it. Overall it was excellent and we would return . The bakeRead morery just down the road is fantastic but you will need to queue, not cheap but 1st class. Hide

Roomy property well furnished and fitted with just about. The new kitchen is fabulous. Our third visit to this excellent location within walking distance of beach, town and the canal walks. Our two dogs loved the big garden and all of the walks we went on without the need to use the car. The Bank and Olive Tree provided excellent dining out opportuRead morenities.
