It will feel like a home away from home in Nuthatch Lodge. The beautiful wooden floors and exposed beams across the apex ceilings in the open-plan living area open out the accommodation, adding a cosy cottage feel without scrimping on space. At one end of the lodge, French doors open out onto a decked area with seating so you can admire the glorious views over a cup of tea with your loved one.

The property is situated in an ideal place for a restful holiday, but since you're just 2 miles/ from the A38 you can see the rest of Cornwall with no problems. Golitha Falls (7 miles) is a popular waterfall to visit, so make sure you pack your walking boots to enjoy the stroll along the River Fowey. Walk through the five levels of cells at Bodmin Jail (10 miles) for a bit of history, or if stately homes are more up your street the National Trust Lanhydrock is just 8 miles away.

The owners are very helpful, kind and charming with a delightful sense of humour. The cottage has a lovely aspect and is roomy for two people. It is well equiped. If you have a car it is in a good location for visiting lots of places on both the nortern and southern coastlines as well as Bodmin Moor. We had a brilliant stay at the cottage.
