Plot your coastal escape to this stylish apartment in the seaside village of Porthtowan. Within a short walk of one of the UK's top surfing spots at Porthtowan beach, guests can don their wetsuits and head for the waves during the day and spend cosy evenings enjoying each other's company in warm surroundings, perhaps with a marshmallow laden hot chocolate and a good film.

Contemporary and open-plan, the interiors are a welcome haven after a day in the fresh sea air. The two sumptuous bedrooms are dotted with nautical details to reflect the surroundings and offer soft linens to sink into and truly unwind as the day draws to an end. Then, when the sun begins to rise, throw open the patio doors and enjoy breakfast alfresco with the sound of the gulls in the distance.

While exploring the rock pools and following the South West Coastal Path, look out for the occasional dolphin, seal and basking shark that call these swirling waters home. If you fancy venturing further, some of Cornwall's most popular attractions are nearby including The Eden Project (32 miles) and Land's End (30 miles), as well as the renowned seafood eateries in Padstow (31 miles) and St. Ives (20 miles).

Great, well equipped dog friendly apartment located a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Hot showers, comfy beds and sofas . Spotlessly clean on arrival and a couple of thoughtful welcoming touches.

Lovely apartment, very clean and had everything you needed. Great communication with the owner a couple of days prior to going who emailed us info on the apartment and local area which was very useful. It is larger than it looks on the photos. Bed very comfy and the shower in the main bathroom amazing, rainfall option! It is at an ideal location a Read morefew minutes walk to the beach, 2 pubs and a cafe, all of which are very dog friendly. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Hide

Perfect location, cottage and stay. Cottage was spacious, clean, modern and quiet. Would highly recommend. Great location to explore Cornwall. 5 minutes walk to a gorgeous beach. The unicorn 5 minutes away does the best Sunday roast ever! Also good for just drinks or food and dog friendly. Blue bar on the beach great too and lush pizza. Clean well equipped apartment situated close to the beach ideal for a doggy holiday. Couple of good eating places within a few minutes walk and local store for daily groceries.
