Immerse yourselves in the Devon countryside and head over into Cornwall too when you stay at this delightful farm cottage near Bridgerule. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom hideaway welcomes pets, making it a great option for anyone with a faithful friend who is eager to join in the fun. Situated 7.5 miles from Bude and 5 miles from Bude, it is well positioned for the coast as well as the countryside, and comes with a private, outdoor seating area, as well as access to shared space.

Let yourselves into the cottage, which adjoins the main farmhouse but benefits from great privacy. Discover accommodation with a wealth of original charm, as well as ample, modern-day comfort. Gather in the beamed lounge to play a board game, watch the Smart TV, or simply sink back into the soft seating to chat. One of the sofas in here can be made up as a bed by arrangement. The kitchen/diner at the cottage is a sizeable space, with plenty of space to rustle up homecooked meals and gather around the table to eat together. When everyone is ready for bed, make your way up to the first floor of the property. Here, you will find a double room and a bunk bedroom where you are sure to enjoy a great night’s sleep. Fire up the BBQ and grill supper outside as you take in the views. Arrange to explore the farm and perhaps even collect fresh eggs for breakfast. Take your happy hound to bound about in the dog exercise field and rinse him off under the pet shower afterwards.

Head into Bude to stock up on local produce, dine out and spend time on beautiful Summerleaze Beach. Plan a trip to the National Trust’s picture postcard beach at Sandymouth Bay as well.

We had a lovely stay, nice and peaceful. Ideal for doggy people as the garden is secure, especially for our reactive rescue dog. If needed, you can also arrange a field to walk your dog on as well.
