Situated on the tip of the rugged Lizard Peninsula in South Cornwall, this delightful property is the ideal location to discover the superb South West Coast Path. A warm climate and vast selection of picturesque coves and beaches peppered along the route make this coast lovely for a lazy holiday. Gather around the table or on a sandy beach while you plan a full schedule of days out.

The interior is furnished in warm welcoming colours with traditional features such as exposed beams and deep window seats under pretty sash windows. While many of the rooms have country or coastal views, the highlight of the cottage is, without doubt, the generous garden at the front of the property which gazes down to the sea below. The perfect place to set up the BBQ on long lazy afternoons, it's also a great place for the family to gettogether and play games on the lawn or just relax with the sound of waves crashing in the distance.

Walk less than a mile to reach the most south-westerly point of the British mainland where you'll discover National Trust-owned Lizard Point. Visit the Lizard Lighthouse and Heritage Centre where you could pick up some souvenirs from the gift shop, looking out for ornaments made from the local stone to take home. Join the coastal path which stretches all around the peninsula and discover the unique landscape with spectacular views across the ocean.

Charming little cottage in a fantastic location close to the village centre at the Lizard. The Lizard Point, lighthouse and coastal path are only a 10 minute walk away. Seals could be spotted in the water off the point on every visit. The creation of a suntrap hedging around the patio to the front of the cottage was a great feature. The Witchball pRead moreub around the corner was perfect for a drink in the setting sun. Smugglers fish and chips are also close by and recommended. Hide

A comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage in a superb location in Lizard Village. The welcome pack of provisions and flowers were all appreciated and felt welcoming, as well as the stock of books and board games for guests. All our needs were catered for and we would re-book without doubt.

We had a fabulous week. Lovely cottage in a tremendous position, very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and a lovely bunch of flowers waiting for us when we arrived was a lovely touch. Great coastal walking in almost every direction and only 15 mins walk down to a lovely little beach in Housel Bay.
