Trevose Golf and Country Club

Trevose Golf and Country Club is situated in Constantine Bay, near to St Merryn and only a few miles from the picturesque fishing port of Padstow.  Trevose is suitable for either real golfing enthusiasts or for the more casual player.  Besides the Championship course there are other facilities on offer at the club.  The Club House has a large bar and sitting area, the Restaurant serves from 8.00am to 10.00pm, the games room has table tennis tables, a pool table, video machines and once a week during August a disco is held for the youngsters, a snooker room, 3 hard all-weather tennis courts, heated outdoor swimming pool open from mid May to mid September (the pool has an attendant during the school summer holidays).

Merlin Golf Club and Driving Range

The Merlin Golf Course is an 18 hole course with a six bay driving range and some spectacular views.  Situated near to the sea with easy road links to both Newquay and Padstow.  The Club House has a friendly atmosphere and is open all year round from 8am till around dusk, offering a selection of food and drink and a pool room.  All the facilities are open to visitors with no handicap required.  There are buggies, trolleys and clubs available to hire.  There is also a shop.  Green Fees:-   ADULTS 18 holes: £20 - £22  12 holes: £15 - £16  Weekly ticket: £80 - £100   JUNIORS 18 holes: £10 - £12    12 holes: £8 - £10  Weekly ticket: £60 - £80 (NB. Golf is free from Sept - June when you book 1 Merlin Apt, 2 Merlin Apt or 3 Merlin Apt).

Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club

The Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club is situated  in the town of Bude.  Established in 1891, it is a challenging links course surrounded by the town and near the sea. The excellent drainage enables the course to be played throughout the year off regular tees and greens.  The natural fairways and greens are rarely unplayable with quick surfaces incorporating both severe and subtle borrows. The Club House and friendly bar and restaurant  has just been extensively refurbished.  Visitors are welcome and the bar and restaurant are open all year.

Treloy Golf Club

Treloy Golf Club is in an excellent location, near to the town of Newquay and also close to the sea.  It is situated slightly inland from Newquay on the road between St Columb Minor and St Columb Major.  The course is of a high standard and the friendly Club House is licensed.  There is a coffee shop and clubs can be hired.

St Enodoc Golf Club

St Enodoc is between the villages of Trebetherick and Rock on the Camel Estuary.  Nothing remains of the original hamlet now except for the church, half buried in the sand dunes, located in the middle of the course.  The Club has two different 18 hole courses to choose between.  The Church course is the more demanding of the two, totalling over 6243 yards with a par of 69. The course offers plenty of tight fairways and tricky greens.  The Holywell course is slightly less of a challenge measuring a little over 4103 yards with a par of 63.  There is a bar available, with lunch, afternoon tea and dinner also on offer.

Lanhydrock Golf Club

Lanhydrock is an 18 hole parkland course situated 1 mile south of Bodmin.  Lanhydrock Golf Club is located in a sheltered wooded valley in central Cornwall.  It has been owned and managed by the Bond family, creators of the St Mellion Golf Course, since 1993.  The Club is welcoming and positioned in a beautiful area of the county.

Carlyon Bay Golf Club

A championship length course with spectacular cliff top views. Recently voted top course by Golf World in £24 - £50 green fee range. The many facilities include; club hire, cart hire and trolley hire, changing rooms and pro shop, and also offers lunch, dinner, club bar, bar snacks and tea and coffee.

St Mellion Golf and Country Club

St Mellion International Golf and Country Club is near Plymouth, Devon. With two championship courses, this famous West Country golf club has hosted the Benson & Hedges International six times, making St Mellion the greatest venue for golf in Cornwall and one of Europe's top golf and leisure resorts.  The Nicklaus Course was officially opened in July 1988, this course is regarded as one of the finest golf courses in Europe.  This incredible course has high tees with good views of the fairways and many water hazards.  There are many spectator banks lining some of the holes to ensure good viewing and each hole sets its own challenge.  Every one of the holes on this course is a great test.  At just over 7000 yards from the tournament tees and 6000 yards from the medal tees, the Nicklaus Course is an enjoyable and demanding experience.
