End of terraced cottage in a quiet corner of this small development, only
a ten minute walk from the town and harbour and with a parking space on
the road and further on street parking nearby. It has a lovely view from
the rear and the garden over the estuary. The cottage is well equipped
and comfortable, albeit the décor is a little tired. The property could
be somewhat small for a party of 6; consequently we would recommend its
suitability for 6 only if 4 of the party are small children. Sarah's View
is a design award winning, small, modern development of cottages on the
outskirts of Padstow and built on the side of a hill overlooking the Camel
estuary. It is about 10 minutes walk (although you may take longer coming
back as it is uphill!) from the beautiful unspoilt harbour and the variety
of shops and galleries as well as pubs and restaurants which Padstow has
to offer. There is a passenger ferry and water taxi which runs across the
estuary to Rock. The route of the old railway track to Bodmin is now a
popular trail for cyclists and walkers and offers some wonderful scenery
along the way. There are a number of lovely beaches within a few miles.
